Creating defensible space can help protect your home and property in the event of a fire.  We can assess your property to determine ways to reduce fire risk and remove trees to reduce fuel load.  

Fire prevention:

  • Eliminate fire ladders to reduce risk of crown fires
  • Create fuel breaks
  • Prune lower tree branches to a height of at least six feet from the ground
  • Remove dead or dying trees, branches or shrubs adjacent to or overhanging buildings and all branches within 10 feet of any stovepipe or chimney outlet
