Considering the job an arborist does they are way underpaid. Many orchardists like to prune in the spring after the tree has started leafing out because at that time they can see (and remove) the branches that did not survive the winter. This is especially true for those who grow tender fruit trees, like peach trees or apricots.

Thank you for the tips on pruning trees. There are some trees in my yard that are needing to be pruned. I'll have to look into finding the best arborist in our area.

Many fruit trees are grafted, with the top half producing the desired fruit and the bottom component, or rootstock, chosen for disease resistance and strong rooting. If the rootstock sprouts, the sprouts may take over and "steal" nutrients from the top, especially if the top is damaged, frost-damaged, or diseased in any way. Because the rootstock is of a similar species, it may yield citrus fruit with a different appearance. Look for areas on the trunk where the bark changes or the trunk thickens rapidly. This is where the graft union should be. Remove any sprouts that are growing below the union.

Spring is always such a busy time for tree care professionals, and it's important to make sure that the trees are properly pruned before the growing season really takes off. I hope the crew is able to finish up the season strong and that the trees thrive throughout the rest of the year.

This becomes all the more hectic if you are running a business. If you don’t have enough resources or a dedicated team of developers to manage the website, then it will be better to go for a maintenance and support service provider.
